This qualification provides the skills and knowledge for individuals to administer and manage information and communications technology (ICT) support in small-to-medium enterprises using a wide range of general ICT technologies. It covers cyber security awareness, networking, virtual computing, systems support, and client problem management in modern digital environments.

Graduates will be able to work across a broad range of ICT roles, applying technical, procedural, and some theoretical knowledge to support organisational ICT needs, manage client issues, maintain network security, and contribute to cyber security practices.

All skills must be applied in accordance with relevant Commonwealth and State or Territory legislation, Australian standards, and industry codes of practice. This is a nationally recognised qualification with no mandatory work placement requirement.

  • Be at least 16 years of age at the time of course commencement
  • Have successfully completed Year 10 or equivalent, or have other relevant qualification/s
  • Complete LLN assessment (ACSF Level 3) and course entry interview

Assessments may include online knowledge questions, projects, practical ICT tasks, case studies, technical documentation, network and cyber security scenarios, workplace-style reports, team-based activities, and simulated workplace tasks. Clear instructions and trainer feedback are provided throughout.
